2015: All Stars - Sponsorship Requests Khalil Henry, Joseph Jackson and Rafael Davis

I  am personal trainer in San Diego who has volunteered time to train athletes who otherwise could not afford it. I am offering the rare opportunity to sponsor world class athlete before they hit the national/world stage. Athletes and gym rats alike will immediately see the potential in the videos.

Khalil Henry- Legend Making

Khalil is a high jumper who came to work with me after using his 4 years of eligibility in college. He jumped 6'10" in JC to qualify for D1. Practicing on bad equipment he tore his achilles and needed major rehab. I saw 3 things that stood out:
1: muscle/fat ratio needed improvement
2. He had not begun to tap his true strength/power potential
3. He was hungry

He weighed 210 pounds and could barely squeeze out quarter rep squats with 185. After working with me in just a few months he was at all time strongest and lighter than ever. With his new strength he found new determination and a entered meet at UCSD.
I  have 20 years experience training athletes and when I see one compete, I can usually spot what their weakness is and what they need to improve on. High jumping is another story. Khalil competed "unattached", no school, coaches or sponsors. After his first practice jump I noticed I didnt have a clue on how to correct high jump technique. I watched the meet in the pit with the other coaches, after each athlete jumped they went directly to their coach and got pointers on their jumps.
Khalil just got back in line and waited for his next jump and I stood there in ignorance.  That day, his first jump after his injury and with no pit training he jumped 6'6".
Shortly thereafter he was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs and could not workout and was waiting on word if he needed surgery.
After a long layoff we resumed training early this year-

This video is of Khalil manhandling 225 reverse lunges(1 leg squat) at a bodyweight of 190 a few months back.

I immediately began to go through my contact to look for high jump coach, after many promises, nothing came through. I did a weekend crash course and am familiar with proper technique and can correct a video, but am still not able to make instant real time corrections. I am getting better though. The following was a meet at SDSU he hits 7'0"

6" better than UCSD, a solid improvement. We did calculations, assesed how he felt, and considered the training or lack of and  without a doubt realized that he can not only qualify for the Olympics at 7'6" but he has potential to break world record at 8'0"!
Here's why:
1)The jump was delayed for 3 hours, after his warm up! He was sitting around in the sun hungry, had a spoon of peanut butter. Combined with mental stress of being warm then having to wait 3 hours, I'm sure an inch or two was lost.

 2) Very minimal practice in high jump pit and NO coaching at practice. Another good storyline: takes public transportation 2.5 hours away just to use pit. The last few times before the meet the pit was closed.

3)He has been hitting pr's in gym at 181, plans to jump at 170. Right after Thanksgiving he was 195 at this meet!

4) His form, approach and takeoff are way off. No coaching and first jump after 6 months. His height on jump better than ever.

5) We have not even started nutrition and supplementation program yet!

After meet he was feeling good. After hitting a 275 power clean he "plays" with a 7'6" height. That means no measured steps, random starting point and not thinking about form.
This jump got the attention of some big names in track and field, including Usain Bolt's manager. At 7'3" Nike will fully sponsor gear.
An ON sponsorship would benefit both parties immensely. He will be able to make that next step with proper supplements and save on his grocery bill. The Olympics are next year and present an unprecedented marketing opportunity. As of now he is relatively unknown and to say you guys were there when no one else was will say a lot about your company. Especially if he hits 8'0".

2nd candiate is my son Joseph Jackson. He would be ideal to sponsor for many reasons. He has that ON look, playing football at Southwestern College this Fall, has a bodybuilding background and model looks. He is pretty popular on Youtube with no marketing.
JJ is my youngest son, I raised him and two siblings by myself after their mom left us. He was a an angry child after that and I could see from the age of 3 he needed an outlet for release. I worked in gym my whole life and he grew up there too. Through bodybuilding I was able to keep him off high school binge drinking, drugs and partying. Results came first. We found out as a boy he extremely fast. Combine this with an absolute love of bodybuilding and football and you get the product you will see in the Fall.

JJ is unknown on the national scene- Due to me moving, grades, fights and a corrupt CIF/ Juco system JJ's last year playing was freshman high school football. Even at that age he was strongest at his high school and among the fastest. Being a single father we have had many obstacles,  just being eligible to play was the biggest obstacle. He finally got on roster 2014 at local JC.  he was not only the strongest and fastest, but the team leader. They made him special teams captain during summer.
I was under the mistaken impression that coaches would play their best athletes. He practiced at safety all summer and dominated. As the weeks went by something was amiss, he did not get one play at safety, even in blowouts or final game. Players and other coaches were asking him why he wasn't playing, it was so blatant. Near the end of season at practice he played running back against first team defense, playing with 2nd string offense. 300 yards later the clueless coaches asked why he didn't play RB and didn't know he was that fast. We transferred the next semester, coaches from his former team took his credits so he wouldn't be eligible and put the transfer rule in effect so he was not allowed to play 2015 after practicing all summer at 1st string running back on a team with 3 straight JC state championships. He caught balls in last two summers at Whitfield academy for Manziel and other top D1 guys. His bodybuilding background made him look like a linebacker compared to everyone else despite weighing 180.  This leg workout would be impressie for a 300 lb lineman. he crushes it at 185 and demonstrates foot speed at end with fried legs.

After the first game this fall he will be highly recruited for D1, sponsorship will be tricky with the NCAA so now is the ideal time. He also won teen Natural Southern Cal and finished 2nd overall at 16 years old and competed in NPC show at 18, no dieting or cardio for either. He walks around photoshoot condition. This year we hit our goal weight of 200 lbs while maintaining speed with only supplement being a preworkout. He would have done a show or two this year but finances are tough and we couldn't come up with entry fee. With proper supps he can be stage ready in 4 weeks or less if during track season.

Third is an amazing story. A former co-worker of mine who after a crippling motorcycle crash took up ju-jitsu mainly to help with depression at 42 years of age. Like me, he has ability to see and grasp fundamental truths and use them for his benefit. As I did with the fitness, he saw that many were glossing over or not paying enough attention to what he called the 4 fundamentals. I had no idea what he was talking about technique wise but knew where he was coming from. I knew that his knowledge and my program design would take him far. I had no idea how far, this month he has won the fucking World Championships! Beating a few of his idols on way to the gold. He also has promotion vids ready to go:

The last candidate is myself. A lot of athletic/personal  trainers are famous for training professional and high caliber athletes. When I look into it, 100% of the time they get the athlete after they are already professional or on top of there game. Earlier this year a client who I have trained since high school Norman Powell, got drafted 45th in the NBA draft. I stated on FB that day how shitty the scouts must be, as he took UCLA to the sweet 16 on his shoulders. He went on to be MVP of summer league and signed for the Raptors. After a summer training with me his vert increased dramatically and the next season he takes team to state championship and wins a couple of slam dunk contests. I became the "guy who trained Norman" around the basketball circles and have been requested to work with some high potential D1 guys this year in the offseason. He most likely will be participating in the NBA slam dunk this year, pretty crazy and will lead to many more hoopsters in the future.

So 2015 brought international attention to two of my clients, and 2016 will I plan to double that. The reason?  There is a huge fundamental flaw in exercise physiology, hypertrophy science and performance science in general. I realized this in '95 and built a career out of it. Two years ago I committed to understanding what is happening in a molecular level to explain the seemingly amazing results my clients were getting. This last year put me in a position where I can train less make more, research and train deserving athletes who just cant afford personal training. That's how all of the above athletes worked with me, free or $20 a session. It has paid off immensely and I am just getting started. Goal is to run state of the art training in inner city neighborhoods and start spitting out first round draft picks in every sport. I work out and keep up with all my athletes in the gym at 47 years old, was not able to afford supps this year and made great progress still. Having a supplement sponsor would go a long way for me and any future athletes/clients.
Thanks for your ti

Reading Kruse Gems

I have recently joined a group on FB which discusses and practices the teachings of Dr. Jack Kruse. Basically he says medicine, wellness  and nutrition should be evaluated on a sub-cellular level. As with all quantum discussions, the shit can go over your head real quick. Thus anothe member formed this group to start from the very beginning of his blog posts. I will post what I have learned here, already on blog 5 so I will start in detail here. This is what I have gotten so far
-the importance of testing for C reactive proteins and
-Endocronologist suffer the same deficiencies as the rest of medicine: Treating the symptom. For instance, for low thyroid hormone they will prescribe a thyroid medication. Ignoring the HPT axis and if the precursors necessary for healthy thyroid production.
-The LIVER and not the thyroid is the driver of metabolism
-Taking statins for cholesterol
-the Framingham study(bible of CVD) and its backwards misinterprtation
- Drops in cholesterol count after the age of 50 almost ensure quicker death!

UBIQUINATION- how proteins are marked for replacement, lack of O2 and sleep disruption increases rates

The most reported adverse condition for living in high altitude is muscle loss. Why?
protein synthesis from our nucleic acids are the most energy costly activity for a eukaryotic life form.

-Unfavorable conditions increase ubiquination 3-5 fold, depleting stem cell store.
-Hypoxia leads to swollen mitochondria leads to inefficient mitochondria.
-Elevation and non native EMF are coupled to calcium metabolism and to higher ubiquination rates in proteins in cells.
-Exercise induced adrenal fatigue
Brain derived nerve growth factor (BDNF) is markedly altered when ubiquination is off kilter.  BDNF increases new neuron sprouting and new growth in our brain, but the newly created circuits have to be pruned by the action of melatonin at night, during autophagy. If you have a circadian mismatch, you do not release melatonin properly at night, so you never optimally prune these new arborizations.
PVN para ventricular nucleus- neoronal nucleus in the hypothalamus where adrenal fatigue begins.
Mitochondria are electromechanical heat sensors that pay attention to vibrations they get from the environment.  They can’t pay attention to these oscillations when calcium is being chronically effluxed from cells,  because you are doing things improperly to your quantum design
Mitochondria can normally hold the vibrations of photons, electrons, and protons stable in place, by controlling electrical and magnetic forces they generate.  At elevations or altitude, you have less control over electrical and magnetic fields generated within cells,  because of the increased energies of the electromagnetic force our mitochondria chronically faces.  If you cannot control these forces,  calcium is released from cells,  and all voltage gated channels in cell membrane no long function properly
HERE IS WHERE WE AGREE 100%
This study points out something else about exercise, coupled to excessive non EMF, that runs counter to modern ancestral dogma. This exercise link in the healthy states, should really point out why you need to understand the relationships to exercise, circadian biology, and the redox potential, at a quantum level. It is counterintuitive to people who live in the classical world of beliefs,  and yet makes perfect sense to me.  This is why I have warned some of these groups about their beliefs.  This is why cross fitter’s and marathoner’s can drop dead, from what most consider normal exercise.  This exercise, these “experts” advise should be done with regularity, even if you live in cities or at elevations, maybe a bad idea.  Most have no idea that exercise also has a context.  The dose makes the toxin when you live in a city or at an elevation.  Be careful with the advice you get from these so called, experts.
Tensegrity
Tensegrity controls the size and shape of mitochondria during autophagy for those of you who don’t know. It is maintained by actin filaments and integrins proteins in the cell connecting the cell membrane to the the mitochondria and to the nucleus of every cell.  Those actin filaments and integrins are also piezoelectric.
Remember, cold temperatures and strong electric currents are the only two things in the universe that increase magnetic flux.
You do not stress a body with cold environment; with cold, you are stimulating its quantum heat machines (mitochondria)  to work better by releasing heat.  Heat is infrared light.

Melatonin is secreted only in conditions of darkness is present for 4 hours consistently when the system is working well and ATP levels are optimal.

The Absurdity of the Bench Press in Football 2012: update for 2016

I wrote this in 2012, sent it to owners, players, head coaches, media people, insurance agents and of course it fell on deaf ears. Here is an update, and for all those that have read this and didn't heed it, blame yourself. I must try again again because your destroying your athletes and having college and high school programs do the same. Here is a quick update and confirmation of everything I have presented in 2012. The NFL, for all the money they throw around these guys have not a clue!  The story that prompted me to update this piece is after the 2012 piece,  a confirmation of the truth.

The Absurdity of the Bench Press in Football

Whose idea was it to include the most damaging and injury prone exercise as a prerequisite test to get into the NFL? The above statement alone should raise red flags and set off alarms in every player, coach, GM, owner and fan. Yet the exercise has become such myth that it escapes the scrutiny of the ones who utilize it most often and also suffer the consequences for their blind faith in this exercise. I can go on disparaging strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers and sports doctors who should know better. Instead of offending a lot of people lets try to move forward, examine and fix this travesty, because its not only destroying the shoulder joints and pectoral muscles of NFL athletes, but also collegiate, high school and even younger athletes, who mimic the pros trying to obtain a higher level of performance. Lets start examining why this horrible trend started and the flawed logic behind it.

Sometime ago a weight training movement achieved an almost mythical status and became the layman’s barometer of a persons strength. That exercise of course is thebench press.   Gyms across the country paid worship to this exercise by placing its importance above all else. “How much do you bench?” became all that really mattered.  Football players and athletes frequent gyms-so do coaches. They adopt the gym logic. Reading this you are probably also guilty of worshipping this false idol. We all were, so the powers that are in the NFL can be given a reprieve for initially using the bench as a test. Yet to continue after the huge injury increase in anterior shoulders, pec tears and even injuries during benching, is unacceptable, cost prohibitive and plain dumb.

As a consequence of gym logic, some football or strength and conditioning coach decided to use this as a measure to determine who would be strong on the field. They wrongfully reasoned that if this was the true test of a mans’ strength, than to maximize the bench would maximize the players dominance on the field.

Lets examine why this premise is not only flawed, but unnecessarily harmful, and the worst kind of harmful.

Gym strength vs football strength- the bench press is a fixed, stable, supported exercise where the lifter is able to set up, adjust grip perfectly, using a perfectly balanced barbell, performed at a pre planned and rhythmic tempo.  The combine bench press has duration much longer than that of the average football play, measuring muscular endurance rather than true strength. As any exercise physiologist will tell you.
Who in their right mind would compare that to what goes on in the trenches of a football field!? Maybe someone watched the lineman at point of impact and what stood out was the horizontal pushing motion with the arms, completely ignoring the incredible leg drive, the back strength required, or strength of their core. If the goal is to measure pushing strength, then there are many improvements that can be made on the exercise and the testing procedure. Dumbells for instance would be better choice or even standing sled pushes would provide a better indication of on field, practical strength.  MMA  has a much stronger case for using the bench for these purposes. You will eventually find yourself on your back having to press a weight horizontally from your torso with your back being supported (floor).
When there is millions of dollars, future success and time invested in an individual player, you would think that there would have been someone who made this connection. As a trainer with over 20 years experience I do not have ANY clients do flat barbell bench press for risk of injury. They get hurt, they can’t train and I don’t get paid. Any trainer or gym rat with similar experience will tell you the same.
Even with the high incidence of injuries caused by the bench press, professional trainers, exercise physiologists, phd’s blame the injuries on bad technique or fail to make the connection between the bench and the plague of pec tears in the NFL. (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ycn-10186507) The proof is there, the flat bench press is a bad exercise. It’s amazing how none have made the connection. Many players are injured on the bench press itself, a fact that should scare the hell out of most coaches, GMs, fans and owners. I’m flabbergasted it’s been allowed to go on for so long.

 Biomechanics nightmare
Without getting too technical the pectoral muscle cannot even halfway contract when the bars touching the chest or just above it. You see a bencher drop the bar under control then the weights descent accelerates an inch or two above the chest an inch or two before its hits the chest. All of the pressure from the weight is transferred to the shoulder capsule which slowly deteriorates over time.(For a video on this checkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmgXWHZeS-8)
The stretched position causes tearing in the pec, diminishing the integrity of the muscle over time if its not allowed to heal.  This leads to a weak shoulder and pectoral muscle which shows up in the form of anterior shoulder pain and partially or fully torn pecs. A partial tear in the pec can turn into full ones in a game real easily- as seen by the rash of pec injuries in sports today(LINK), even basketball.(http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7455838/kwame-brown-golden-state-warriors-three-months-chest-injury Very telling is Van Gundy’s quote,” "Those are strange (injuries) in basketball. You just don't see that. Those are football and weightlifting injuries," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said before his team faced the Warriors. "You see a lot of defensive linemen, offensive linemen and weightlifters get those injuries. The time I've been in the league, I can't remember another guy with a torn pec, it's a strange injury for our league.")
     Bending the Hanger
If you bend a hanger once it wont break, maybe not even on the 5, 20th or 50th time. But its going to break. The same is happening to shoulder joints and pec muscles across weight rooms around the world, just head to any power lifting gym and ask around about injuries, go to any bench press contest and look at the contestants, you wouldn’t call them athletic or even functional looking. Now because of the NFL combine tests, athletes are doing set after set of this exercise two to three times a week! With all you know now about the bench press, do you think that this might have a detrimental effect on an athlete

Overuse and Unnecessary Mileage
The worse part of all is that 99.9% of all football resistance training programs over-train their athletes. (That another travesty and story) Imagine which exercise their getting over-trained on the most? It starts sometimes as young as junior high, oftentimes voluntarily, trying to emulate the pros. The NFL will correct this mistake soon or inevitably look back ashamed for how many youthful shoulders it ruined, for millions of dollars of playing time it lost and for careers shortened or never started. For a league whose wear and tear on its athletes is legend, this is inexcusable.
If your kids are in sports they are getting their shoulders damaged from 9th grade on, if you have been around a gym or worked out on the bench this will ring true, lets hope the NFL gets some of this truth.

Not enough? How about this list of players who suffered pec tears in major sports programs

Phil Taylor- Cleveland browns (just recovered)
Chris Norman (MSU team captain, hurt while benching! 2012)
Johnny Troutman (As a Bolt fan I this injury inspired this piece 2012)
Jared Crick (Neb. 2012 )
Bryan Orakbo  (Redskins stud linebacker)
Loaf Tutupo  (Another stud linebacker injured on bench! 2012)
Elvis Dumerville  9
Dqwell Jackson
Josh Mauga
Matt Patchum (LSU)
Jackson Jeffcoat (Texas)
Rodger Saffold (Rams 2011 While  benching!)
Kwame Brown (non-contact, basketball) see link
Mario Williams
Steve smith 2010 NYG
Odwyer Bucs (While benching!)
Darryl Tapp Eagles 2011
Jyles Tucker 2010 Chargers
Scott Fujita 2011
Michael Orr 2010
Kevin Booth NYG Lineman 2010

That was 2012, here is the update August, 2015

The Minnesota Vikings have had a rash of pec tears, these fucking experts can seem to figure out the obvious. Look at this:                                                                                                                 Bykowski, a backup on the offensive line, is the fifth Vikings player to suffer a pectoral injury in the past year. When training camp opened at the end of July, coach Mike Zimmer said the team was trying to examine why so many players have suffered the same injury.
“It’s a combination of things, really,” Zimmer said on Thursday. “It’s dehydrated muscles. It’s getting in the position. Sometimes it’s over-strengthening. Sometimes it’s fatigue. Still, we’re calling around to every expert that we can find and keep digging.”
Maybe it's the brand new strength and conditioning program you have just implemented? Designed by the bench press loving old school coach? NOOO, that must be a coincidence. "Over strengthening?" no such fucking thing. Dehydration? A professional team cannot keep their players hydrated? Fatigue? Fuck yea, from set after set of bench press and I can't say for sure but I bet it's more than once a week, which is exponentially more dangerous. Then while researching I find this:

Pectoral Tears Prompt Vikings' Workout Changes

I was thinking, "Finally some common sense! A team is finally going to address how fucked up bench pressing is and do something about it! Then I read the article and see:
''We're going to work on strengthening the rotator cuffs much more than we have," he said. "We're going to warm up better than we have. So we've addressed that. Always, when you get more than one type of injury, and especially pectoral, it's more of an unusual injury, you have to figure it out."
WHAT THE FUCK MINNESOTA!!! Somebody please get this essay into the proper hands!!

How about these two statements confirming what I have said about the bench and then think to yourself, why is this still a test in the combine?!
Junior Gallette injured himself WHILE BENCHING, here is how he adjusted.

Galette was so upset with how he was injured, he’s gone away from the bench press with a full bar. He uses dumbbells now."
Sounds like something I said in 2012 huh?

"He also mentioned that the Redskins place a block on the chest of the bencher so the bar does not descend all the way to the chest, theoretically protecting a player from the sort of pectoral tear that befell Galette".
So the Redskins realize the exercise is dangerous, but instead of replacing it they put a block on your chest. At least they doing something. If I had time I'm sure I could compile a huge list of pec tears again. I'm afraid no one will listens why bother. Ill send another update out in a couple of years, until then-dumbells people!
2017
Here we go again, another athlete seriously injured while performing this asinine test, nothing else to say...

Magazine article 2

Special gift from us here at Probiotics and Cannibis magazine. As fellow nurturers of life and not easily fooled by propaganda you will see the truth in what is being presented. We need to become the manifestation of the health, fullness, potency and yields we strive for in our garden. Set aside your

Most people when trying to get in shape  for the first time or after long periods of inactivity will immediately start on some type of cardio program. I live in Southern California and it seems everyone is running at least a half marathon, mini triathlon (they call it a sprint), or some kind of endurance sport. Those trying to get in shape for the first time like to walk/jog, bike ride or take a group exercise class.  If  health and appearance are a goal (of course they are) resistance training is the wisest course of action.  those that start with only cardiovascular training have one thing in common after a few months, that is frustration with their body composition or body fat levels and a nagging pain somewhere. Have you ever been to a marathon and checked out the people? Most of  its competitors do not appear to be the picture of optimal health. You don't see proud Greek statues portraying a emaciated, marathon runner, arms raised in all his glory, you see a chiseled (literally), perfectly proportioned low body fat, muscular god who resembles?..Yes a natural bodybuilder! Mans ideal, the picture of ultimate health and function, when did this ideal change?  Well BMI measurements used by doctors does not help, the statue of David if proportioned d in human form would be considered obese and the statue of Hercules morbidly obese. Doctors and insurance companies to this very day use these measurements to predict health, how logical is that? If you were to see these endurance sport people at a beach you wouldn't look twice usually. Yes appearance and is separate from health, but a healthful appearance will take you a long way in life.   Gait, posture, propreoception  and posture lets talk injuries, especially chronic overuse injuries that plague one over a lifetime, hear of runners knee? They have an injury named after them!. Runners have a plethora of injuries from the low back down, ask most veteran marathoners about their lower backs. On the other hand, weight training with a slow controlled tempo and good form is the safest form of exercise there is, check the stats.
Those of you looking to really transform your body and make a long lasting contribution to your overall well being and quality of life should be participating in natural bodybuilding. All that time spent on the road putting mileage on your joints could be much better spent pursuing bodybuilding. Or for females, pursuing figure or bikini competitions, where the emphasis is more on the female form.  lets be honest, most of us  would not want our wife's or mom to go to those muscular extremes that bodybuilders do..but that's another subject.
There should not even be a question on the benefits of bodybuilding vs running for improving and maintaining health. There are three reasons that I will give here, but there are many more. Lets spread the word and change societies perception of what it takes to be healthy and active now and in our old age!
first are the obvious health benefits of adding muscle and losing fat (bodybuilding), as you shall see the comparison is not even close. Next is the injury factor, and the chronic damage to bones and joints between the two. again bodybuilding is far superior here also. finally my favorite is that natural bodybuilding progress is the ultimate "barometer" of ones quality of life!

If you are training to gain strength, lean body mass  your results are reflective of your quality of life.
This person is healthy. To gain muscle all of your bodies systems must be working optimally, especially the endocrine, digestive and immune systems. without these systems functioning optimally, there can be no muscle growth
This person has low stress or knows how to minimize its impact. Again there can be no growth if stress levels are high, the chemicals that are involved when the body is under stress are catabolic. that is they cause tissue breakdown.
This person is well rested. Muscle growth actually occurs when the body is at rest, and a body that is not rested cannot have the optimal workout. success shows this person they are getting enough.
They have a healthy cardiovascular system. to add LBM you need a lot of calories, to burn fat or prevent fat gain this person needs to maintain a consistent cardio regimen and have a strong heart to get through the demanding resistance training workouts.
This person is reversing one of the main components of aging. sarcopenia is muscle loss due to aging, adding muscle is the reverse of this process, providing not only visible results, but increasing function dramatically. Muscle is our engine, bigger engine, better performance.
In contrast the following will have a negative effect on progress and are avoided-high stress, lack of sleep, poor eating habits, illness, excessive partying (alcohol and lack of sleep mainly), dehydration and over training.

Facebook-Internet Experiment Day 3

Its been a while since my last post on this subject. This experiment has showed me I have some more tidying up to do. I've have since stopped following most sports pages and pages with the obvious left or right bias. I used to subscribe to both because I found the truth of both parties can be found in the critisms from the other side. Now however they have become too predictable and decisive and serve no purpose in my enlightenment. Also most entertainment pages also gone, except some sci-fi, fantasy or gaming pages. I have added a lot of artists whose work has struck a chord, always nice to come across an inspirational  piece of art on your newsfeed, 99% of the time changing my mindset for the better. Most importantly i have been friend requesting people who I feel are more enlightened, not easily swayed by rhetoric or ideologies and have posted an enlightening comment or link. I dont even message them, 90% have accepted and I have not been disappointed.
I have been posting top 5 feeds that pop up randomly, but have gotten away from the powerful, enlightened posts I get, mainly because I they lead to more research, more doors pen and pages like, videos to watch etc. and I get a little caught up. Will try to include them for the last three. Without further adieu, my 1st five FB as of 1030 am July 10, 2015...I'm even excited to see what pops up.
What an great day for the experiment, but there was an occurrence that hasn't happened before. I'll explain as I go through them.
1st post- Evolvefest- the Sun is emitting 230% more energy than usual, implies that humanity will be affected in some form. I intend to research this further, scientifically first. While I don't believe in horoscopes, I've come to witness some truth in the heavenly bodies affecting man, mainly in the Jupiter -Venus alignment about 10 days ago. People were literally out of their fucking minds that day and weren't ashamed to proclaim their ignorance. Just look at what our little moon does to our planet and us through its cycle.   2 out of 2

Next was a post from one my new FB friends of a monument in Senegal I had never seen, so powerful I made it my cover photo.  3 out of 2  (yea using my writers privilege)

So here is where the anomaly comes in, after first two posts FB rearranges my first five right before my eyes to more mainstream un-inspiring shit. So the other 3 posts that should have been included were lost. Again, I cant remember this happening before, sometimes I can log in later and still see couple of the first 5 posts. If I was paranoid I would say FB was trying to damper my enlightenment, either way in the process of searching for the other 3 posts I wasted the I had allotted today for this writing. Maybe I will add a 6th day to make up for this. On a related note check out the Senegal monument, it is truly inspiring. While your at it, look up the Sun and its activity levels, haven't verified it but if true it is a big deal.

Day 3

1st post former client, 50th Bday. Ill stop following because she is no longer in the area, if she was i would continue for chance of signing her up again. 0

2nd post- Local news channel, Netflix latest releases. Thinking about unfollowing, Ill give them another chance. Fox 5 of course

3rd Free Press: Weeks after the FCC's Net Neutrality rules went into effect, data shows that major ISPs -- including AT&T, Time Warner and Verizon -- are slowing data from popular websites to thousands of US businesses and residential customers in dozens of cities across the country.  Would give it a three because of its importance and the fact that it wont be on regular media.

My Internal Internet Renaissance

I read an article today about the evils of social media, specifically Facebook. The typical accusations involving envy, jealousy and feelings of inadequacy while viewing others profile. Although the original intent of Facebook was a social site, it has evolved into a vital place to acquire knowledge. The shit I have learned and my understanding of life in general in the last 5 years has improved exponentially mainly through Facebook. This includes my time in college, which is amazing and unexpected result of using Facebook. I am rare I know, in fact in general after college most people stop learning and have no interest in acquiring new knowledge. So this method of using FB will not work for them. If you are hungry for knowledge and open minded you can find life changing posts regularly if you follow the advice into turning your FB page into a repository of knowledge that has the potential of changing your life for the better every-time you open it. Sounds too good to be true? I will first write down everything I learn when i open FB for the next & days and write them down here. I will then show you how to transform your FB page(or how I did it).
Here is my basic law for "liking" pages or people. For people it is family, clients, HS friends(business networking) and friends or people I have seen post worthy items or have knowledge or experience in a topic I am interested in, the "following" button lets me choose what appears on my page without unfriending anyone.
The following 7 days I will post the first 5 feeds on my page and two or three gems of knowledge or information that I find everyday. Sometimes art or entertainment may pop up, but if they are inspirational it is a positive for the day. Here we go:

June 8, 2016
First 5 feeds:
1- police beating mentally ill man on ground in Salinas, which will probably never reach the tv news, provided by FB friend who I never met, friended over video of Baja I saw him in, turns out our politcal and worldviews are similiar, so I still follow.

2-John Oliver drinking a Bud Light Lime after FIFA head resigns, after the episode the previous week surely played a part in his resignation. That show along with social media helped bring down rampant and blatant corruption by one of the most powerful organizations in the world, hope!

3 and 4- both posts from my client who is competing in high jump this weekend. The first says he is at track first thing in morning( good info for me) and the 2nd is about Olympic high jumper accused of doping. I inferred he was juicing months back because his numbers were ridiculous.  I commented, " Told you. The testing and looking at his past wont prove anything. Any decent biochemist can get around ANY doping test. A famous one said if you get caught, your working with the wrong guy. Watch his numbers drop now"

5 Talks about a site where famous paintings are being altered to remove all gluten products. Where I read the awesome comment " These are the people who think the air and space museum is an empty building." A joke I will surely use in the future.

1st 5 summary- 10 out of 10 Great first day of this experiment. I intend to give 2 points for every post that is beneficial in some way to any facet of my life. 1 is common theme on my page because I lean towards libertarianism and personal freedom. I give it two points because so far I have heard no mention on regular media, so breaking a story will be worth 2(making this up as I go). The John Oliver post definitely gets 2 points, would give it a 4 if I could. This post is a celebration of truth over evil, John brought us the truth, I and many others shared the piece and two days later Blatt resigns. This is what this shit is all about, social media to make change for the good of all. This piece was destiny I guess. 3 and 4 both get a two. In three I get insight into my clients mindset as he goes to train while most are sleeping and 4 I get validated in a professional assessment of another athlete(allegedly, hehe). 5. Although the knowledge of gluten free art museum does not really improve my life in any way, I get a joke that I will use in the future, which is always worth something. Many gems can be found in the comments section.
1st day random test an amazing success.

Savor poem

I've often heard stories of people on their death bed
Regretting not spending time with the ones they love
Seconds and minutes so precious at that moment
I try to live my life at that moment
     Imaging the present
                         as a second chance
To love, savor and appreciate to whole of of you
Spending one second angry
                                        distant
                                               negative
                           is sacrilege
I am blessed with your presence

            I
